How are the leather patches attached?

All of the leather patches are bonded on with leather glue. The rivets are assembled at the time of processing. After the initial glue up, each patch is checked along the edges to ensure that all of the edges are sealed.

Where do you get your leather?

The leather is ordered from a supplier in Saskatchewan. The leather is at the highest quality.

How thick are the leather?

The leather ranges from 3-5oz or about 1.6mm – 2.4mm

What is the tannage of the leather?

Majority of the leather patches are vegetable tan with some that are oil tanned. 

What colour of leather will I get?

The leather patches come from a selection of 3 different finishes of leather. The finishing is selected to best compliment the hat colour and style. They mostly resemble a light, orangey tan. 

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept all forms of payment including all major Credit Cards,  Paypal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is processed through a secure 3rd party e-commerce company called Paypal or Stripe. Your credit card information is not stored or collected by Beakr.ca

How is my order shipped?

We will process your order as soon as we receive it and do our best to ship if we have the items in stock. Since most of the items on our website are made to order, there will be some time that is required to process the order.

You will receive an order once you place your order and another e-mail informing you of the completion of the order. If the order is local pickup, you will receive a separate personal e-mail to arrange a suitable time for pick up.

All shipping is completed through Canada post.  All shipping will include a tracking number and can be provided upon request. 

We are not responsible for any damages done during the shipping process. 

U.S and international customers: We currently do not ship to the U.S. or anywhere else in the World. If you have purchased products that is shipped to a U.S. address, the order will still be shipped but it will be at your own risk. In the event that the product is lost, there will not be a refund issued and it is deemed lost. 

Shipping charges vary between the items.

Do you accept returns?

We aim to make everyone satisfied with their orders. Due to the nature of garments, returns and exchanges cannot be done.  In the event that you are unhappy with your order, we will try our best to meet your satisfaction. This may be a refund, exchange, or a store credit.
